How do I sign up for paperless billing?

Click the REGISTER button on the Home page.  You will need your account number and name exactly as it appears on your bill.

Can my spouse and I have separate log ins to view our account? 

YES  you can have a multiple user per account.

Is my information secure?

Yes.  Pinnacle Data Systems, the vendor who provides this application, uses multiple levels of security features.

How can I pay my bill?

You may pay your Hopkinsville Electric System (HES) bill with a debit or credit card, or by initiating an electronic bank transfer by clicking on the “Pay Bill” button. You may also use the HES automated phone system to pay your bill by calling (270) 887-4200 and selecting option 1. Payments may also be mailed to P.O. Box 728, Hopkinsville, KY 42241-0728..

Is there a fee for paying online?



Do I have to sign up for paperless billing in order to pay online?

No.  The online payment account is independent of the ebilling sign-up.

Will disconnect or cutoff notices still be mailed?

No.  You will receive an automated phone call from Hopkinsville Electric System notifying you of the upcoming disconnection. .

How do I sign up for paperless billing?

You must first create an account by registering. Once you have registered, you may enroll in paperless billing by clicking on “My Profile”, then choosing “Send Email” as your bill delivery method. It is important that you verify that your email address is correct as you will no longer receive your bill by mail. .  .

Will I continue to receive my bill by mail?

No.  When you enroll in paperless billing, you will receive a notice that your bill is available for online viewing and printing if you choose.

What if I change my email address?

Login to your account and click on “My Profile”, then change your email address to your new one.

Why haven’t I received the paperless bill notification?

Chances are there is a problem with your email address.  Login to your account and verify that your email address is correct. If it is, check your spam folder for the notification. You should also make sure the Pinnacle email address is not blocked You can still view your bill online at
